Am I able to tour the Fire Station?

Absolutely! In order to schedule the tour, please visit our "Contact Us" page and fill out the request form. Once we receive your request, a member of the Fire Department will contact you.

I would like to do a controlled burn on my property. What do I need to do prior?

Anytime you are doing a controlled burn, please contact the Non-Emergency Line at 712-523-2153. Notify them of the address of your controlled burn. Please make sure you also have a water source nearby.

What are the basic requirements to be a member of the New Market Fire Department?

In order to be a member of the New Market Fire Department, you must:

Be 18 Years Old
Possess a Valid Driver's License.
Be able to pass a background check, with no prior felony convictions.
No Major Health Issues
Reside near the New Market Community.
